Welcome to my website about Piano Lessons.

I began playing the piano at the age of 7 and had lessons until I reached the age of 17. The business of finishing high school overtook my time and daily dedication to practice regularly.

I reached Grade 6 at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music at the age of 16 and achieved an A in classical piano!    This was one of my most nervous times of my childhood as I recall waiting outside the room shaking with fear.

I loved my childhood experience of piano lessons every Saturday morning with my lovely music teacher, she was so kind and patient, and she pushed me along very well. I used to practice at least 1-1.5 hours per day in the latter years. Piano practice was a kind of escape for me where if I had a problem to sort out (as most teenagers do) then I would play and by the end, the problem seemed to be solved and I was very relaxed. Great therapy!
